We're all excited to get the season underway, and have just a few things to share this week.
If you're playing in the 12U age group, you should have received your team assignment already. If you have not heard from your coach, please let us know, so you can get the latest information.
The 10U draft was held this week and coaches will be reaching out to players later in the week.
8U and tee ball coaches will also contact their teams in the next week.
County and Junior Legion Assessments:
County and Junior Legion Assessments will be held April 11th at Cousler Park field #4 from 2:00 to 4:30.
A coaching clinic will be held for all 10U and 8U coaches next Thursday, March 26, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Hayshire Elementary. The clinic is FREE and required for all managers and assistants. Experienced coaches will lead an interactive seminar for teaching baseball to these age groups as well as sharing organizational goals, tips for dealing with parents, creating a fun team environment, how to organize effective practices and getting the most from your players.
Panthers Baseball is seeking volunteers to help prepare fields for the upcoming season on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Maintenance will be occurring throughout the park to reset bases, rebuild pitchers mounds, put up fences and repair damage to the fields from the winter months.
Please let us know if you are available to assist as we will need considerable help. No experience is required.
As always, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We're looking forward to a great season!
MTAA offers baseball, softball, and basketball programs for children ages 4-18. We have a variety of divisions for different age groups and abilities. The number of teams and league availability will be determined by the turnout of players in each age group.
