Dear Manchester Township Resident,
MTAA Board of Directors (Letter to MTAA Families)
Manchester Township Athletic Association (MTAA) was started in 2002 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization for the purpose of offering baseball, softball, and basketball programs to the youth of Manchester Township. Over the 13 years of MTAA’s existence we have provided thousands of youth with the opportunity to participate in the sports programs offered. However, times are changing and the Board of MTAA believes that MTAA must change with the times.
Beginning in the fall of 2015 MTAA will be turning over the baseball, softball, and basketball programs previously run by MTAA to Manchester Township. The transition will begin with the 2015 Fall Softball & Baseball programs. The Board of MTAA believes that this change will be very beneficial to township residents because the Manchester Township Parks and Recreation Department will be able to provide these programs the support and attention needed to assure they run far into the future. As part of this transition, MTAA will be turning over all remaining assets, including funds and athletic equipment, to Manchester Township per our bi-laws.
Manchester Township Parks and Recreation (Letter to MTAA Families)
Moving forward, we at Manchester Township will not be able to completely run these programs on our own. We will need your help! The goal for us with Manchester Township Parks and Recreation is to provide a strong internal support system that will allow us to only ask for parents to be coaches and fill other small support roles. That commitment from you is the most important piece of this puzzle and we will honor that by being equally as committed to you. In the end, we all hope that Manchester Township Parks and Recreation can count on you as MTAA has over the past 13 years.
All future communication should be addressed to the following email:
